We are in the Hereford Beef Genetic Improvement business and our herd sires have pedigrees that are stacked with proven superior genetics. Their high carcass values and high maternal traits are proven by their progeny across the nation.
We select our herd sire prospects first on structural soundness, birthweight, performance defined by 205 day weaning wt, 365 day yearling wt, carcass ultrasound and breeding soundness exam. Only about 10% of our total bull calves qualify as prospective herd bulls. We would gladly use any of these bulls to breed our cows.
