Horse Boarding
We offer several boarding options to accommodate your horse’s specific needs. Stall boarding is at the main barn, which consists of 18 stalls, climate controlled tackroom and lighted wash rack with heated water. Pasture boarding and Self boarding are located at the creek barn, which consists of cross-tie area, tackroom and covered wash rack. All boarders have access to both barns, a lighted 100 X 200 ft. riding arena with sand footing and 2 round pens. We fertilize, seed, and treat our pastures for weeds once a year, and lime when needed. We grow our hay and test it each year. Trailer parking is available at no charge. NOTE: We do not put mares and geldings together or board cribbers.
STALL BOARDING
12’ x 12’ matted stall (shavings included)
Fan (mounted in stall)
Stall cleaning 7 days a week
Grain served twice/day, along with owner supplied supplements
Hay served once/day (as well as free choice hay in pasture during winter months)
Fly spraying and fly masking (fly spray and fly mask provided by owner)
Handling for farrier and vet
De-worming (de-wormer provided by owner)
Blanketing if needed (at an additional charge, blanket provided by owner)
Stalls are airy and well-ventilated. Each horse can see out the front, back and both sides of the stall. We believe horses do best in a natural environment where they spend most of their time grazing, so daily turnout is a must. We rotate stall schedule with the seasons.
PASTURE BOARDING
Horses are checked and fed individually once/day
Free choice hay during winter months
Automatic (freeze proof) waterer
Run-in shelter
Mineral & salt block
Fly spraying and fly masking (fly spray and fly mask provided by owner)
Handling for farrier and vet if needed
De-worming if needed (de-wormer at owner’s expense)
Blanketing if needed (at an additional charge, blanket provided by owner)
SELF BOARDING
Self boarding is for the “easy keeper” horse that doesn’t require daily care and attention. We wanted to offer a board package for those on a tight budget or want to be more “hands on” with their horse. Horse owner is responsible for care of the horse (such as handling horse for farrier and vet, feeding horse, blanketing, fly masking, fly spraying, etc.)
Of course, if we notice vet attention is needed, we will be hands on immediately!
Free choice hay during winter months
Automatic (freeze proof) waterer
Oversized Run-in shelter
